Well, some of you will have already heard about them through their excellent children’s parties but what else does Jabberjacks offer – specifically their classes?
To find out we went straight to the horses’ mouths (so to speak!) and asked Jabberjacks owners, Jackie and Verity. Our first question was, of course, “What is a Jabberjacks class?” Verity responded, telling us, “Jabberjacks is a learning and fun activity class for babies and toddlers (18 months to 4 years). Classes run for about 45 minutes and typically include 7 different activities.”
Sounds interesting. So, “What makes a Jabberjacks class so special?” Jackie explains: “Jabberjacks classes have been running nationwide for over 10 years. By lifting the lid on a child’s imagination, these classes, specifically designed for early years, introduce interactive play through a unique combination of puppets, song, dance and movement. Over the weeks parents will see their little ones engage all their senses and develop their social and physical skills, knowledge and confidence!”
These classes sound really great, and also unique, so what can people do to get involved? Jackie and Verity tell us, “Parents and carers are welcome to join in our Wednesday morning classes at the new Community Hall in Old Woodhouse (please note this is not in Woodhouse Eaves) and benefit from our Free registration offer running for the first term. You can either drop in to the weekly classes or sign up for the full 10 week sessions at a discounted rate.”
